Here’s a nice lesson plan on Japanese food from Adam Strauss and Brian Heilenman.

The lesson aims to teach useful vocabulary regarding food and cooking as well as handy adjectives for describing taste and flavor. It also introduces three separate games that allow students to; learn new vocabulary, describe food, and talk about what foods they like or dislike.
